The Allied Arts Council, Cleveland Bradley County is committed to advancing the local arts community by supporting quality arts programming providing arts in education activities and experiences to local schools and their students through the Arts In Education grant program. This program provides funding for teachers to receive grants up to $1000.00 for viable art programs that they wish to bring to their classrooms, visiting artists and teaching artists to present in area schools and as of 2020…virtually, as well as arts projects that benefit for our schools and community.

Chair-ies Jubilee is the annual fundraiser from which the majority of the monies raised funds the AIE grant program.
This year’s theme is :”Into the Sun 2021″ and will be held as a Silent Auction at the Bradley Cleveland Chamber of Commerce on Aug 18-19 ,Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm.

This year, grant applications are electronic submission only! The updated application for 2021 will be available on August 1 under the Arts In Education tab at https://artisheretn.com/art/arts-in-education-grant-program-2021-2022/. There will be a few changes in the 2021 application format. This application is uploaded as an attachment within the Google Form.

The Allied Arts Council ,in collaboration with the Art is here Partnership project, is in the early phase of registering artist and arts organizations as a community resource to connect with artists. Looking to collaborate with a local artist or arts organization? Please take some time to visit the website to browse through the artist registry found at www.artisheretn.comunder the ARTIST tab.
Also on the website be sure to notice under the Education tab some of last year’s AIE grants projects . If you are an artist/maker or know a someone who is an artist/maker please consider joining the artist registry and sharing this opportunity with your friends and family!
Lastly, if you are looking for more opportunities to get involved with the arts and arts programming in the Cleveland Bradley County community, please follow the Art is Here Partnership on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/artisherecleveland and attend their next general meeting on August 19 at 4:30 pm at the Cleveland Ballet Company, located at the Old Woolen Mill.
