As an artist I have taken mental snap shots and often ask hmmm…how would I paint that? Or how can I get that beauty on canvas! The painting “Up and Over” was done after a day trip to the mountains with my family. I just started with the background and had a feeling of wanting to capture some Fall colors. It evolved over several weeks but wanted to keep it loose. I also teach painting and drawing at Hetzel Art Studio & Gallery.
